The Power of Forgiveness

Forgiveness isn't always easy.

Sometimes the deepest hurts are the ones we carry the longest. We may know God calls us to forgive, yet still find ourselves holding onto pain, disappointment, resentment, or brokenness because we simply don't know how to let it go.

The beautiful thing is that God never asks us to forgive in our own strength.

He gently walks with us, bringing healing where there has been hurt and freedom where we've felt stuck.

During this workshop, we'll use creativity, prayer, reflection, and biblical truth to explore the healing power of forgiveness. Together we'll create space to invite God into those places of our hearts that need His love, grace, and restoration.

This isn't about pretending the hurt never happened.

It's about allowing God to begin healing what has been weighing on your heart so you can experience the freedom He desires for you.

You don't need to be artistic.

You simply need a willing heart.

What to Expect

During this two-hour workshop you'll experience:

  • Guided creative exercises

  • Biblical encouragement

  • Personal reflection

  • Prayer

  • Quiet moments to listen for God's voice

  • A welcoming community of women

No artistic experience is necessary.

Everything you'll need—including watercolors, paintbrushes, watercolor paper, and all creative materials—is provided.

Simply come as you are.

About the Facilitator

Create to Be Free was created by Theresa Dedmon, whose creative healing ministry has impacted countless lives. After personally experiencing the transformation this process brought to my own life, I completed facilitator training and now have the privilege of leading these workshops.

While the foundation of Create to Be Free remains true to Theresa's teaching, I've woven in my own testimony, experiences, and the many ways God has faithfully met me throughout my own healing journey.

My heart is to create a welcoming place where women can encounter God's love, experience His healing, and discover the freedom He desires for them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be artistic?

Not at all.

This isn't about artistic ability. Creativity simply becomes one of the ways we make room for God to speak to our hearts.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself.

Everything you'll need is provided, including all art supplies.

Will I have to share personal experiences?

No.

Sharing is always optional. My heart is that every woman who walks through the door knows she's welcome exactly as she is.

Continue the Journey

The Power of Forgiveness is the second workshop in the Create to Be Free series. Each workshop is designed to stand on its own, so you're welcome whether this is your first gathering or you're continuing the journey.

If you feel called to experience the complete six-workshop journey, you can also reserve your place by purchasing the Create to Be Free Full Journey.

A Personal Invitation

Forgiveness isn't about forgetting.

It's about allowing God to bring His healing into the places that still ache.

If you've been carrying something that feels too heavy to keep holding, I would love to invite you to join me.

My prayer is that you'll leave this evening feeling lighter, more deeply loved by God, and one step closer to the freedom He has for you.

I hope you'll join me.
